Ok, so I'm doing weight watchers, and they have a new MOMENTUM plan, that KINDA uses the volumetrics way of eating. If you don't know what volumetrics is, to put it short but sweet, its eating healthier, lower fat and cal foods (fruits, veggies, higher fiber) so you can eat bigger portions (MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK) ***disclaimer*** If i'm wrong on this, please inform me, i'm just going by what I THINK I KNOW>>haha
so anyways, I made this huge scramble this morning, and I'm calling it volumetrics style, because of the fact that it's almost 3 cups worth of food, and only 2 ww pts..yes..2 weight watchers points for the whole thing!!!
1 ore ida frozen fat free hash brown (comes in a box of about 8, they are rectangular )
1/4 cup bell pepper
1/3 cup onion
1/2 cup mushrooms
1/3 cup southwestern style egg beaters
1/2 cup chopped plum tomatoes
the only things that have a pts value in here are the eggbeaters (1pt) and the hashbrown (1pt)
it was so yummy and so filling, I had to hardly add ANYTHING to it. I added a dash of pepper, and a dash of MRS dash, and a dash of red pepper flakes.
oh, and I had this with a cup of decaf coffee, 2 pks splenda, 1/3 cup chocolate almond breeze (1pt)
24 oz of water, and a womens 1 a day multi vitamin.
an hour later I had an orange...I am still full...yay, life is good =)
