Jadyns 2nd Birthday Party!

ME
crazy mommy!
schedules birthday parties with only 3 days notice
expects a lot of people to show up
it's cold and windy
people call me to tell me to reschedule..do i do it?
no
why?
because if it's not done Saturday, it wont get done.
why?
cause life is sooo busy right now that every saturday till Summer is scheduled!
(well not really, but it feels like it sometimes!)
4 of my friends showed up, and they each had 2 kids, so I thought that was a pretty successful spur of the moment party.
Here are some of my favorite pics!

crop last night

The crop last night was a success! I was exhausted, so I think I was a bit grumpy (sorry girls!) but we had a good turn out (6 ladies) which was perfect cause there wasn't any room for any more of us! I finished a mini album from Embellish It! using Basic grey paper, and Also a layout. I havn't photographed the album yet, but here is a pic of the layout I made. I like it alot! The paper is from a K and Company paper pack I bought at Michaels, the journalling stamp is Go Inque, the little saying is MME, the rub on is MM, and the butterflies were cut from the K and CO paper.

Here is a picture of what the journalling says. Edie said to "love my handwriting." Well, I HATE my handwriting...but I was too Lazy to get up and use the printer, so I had to pretend to LIKE my handwriting..lol

Happy Belated Easter!

Holy cow, has it really been 8 days since I last posted? I have some cute easter pics to show. It was a totally different Easter than usual. We almost didn't do an egg hunt at all, because Daddy was taking Jordyn and Jacob camping for three days, and they wanted to get an early start. I had to stall him and rush out in the backyard in my jammies while the kids were stuck upstairs and hide eggs as fast as possible...you know...JUST for the pictures for my scrapbook...no other reason..haha
SO here are some of my faves! (didn't take many, cause this was literally a 10 minute event, and then off in the van they went!)

and then of course, they had to have a 2 minute hula hoop contest with Jordyns new hula hoop (which is already broken...oh the joys of childcare)

yes, i KNOW there are no pics of me..but remember, I was in my pajamas putting this egg hunt together early in the morning, JUST For the pics! lol

Gonna have a crop tomorrow night, so I'm sure I'll have some good pages to show you guys on Sunday...stay tuned!

my silly girls!

Well the morning started out with Jordyn getting frustrated and I could hear tape being ripped and crumpled, and she was muttering and getting mad, so I asked her what she was doing, and she said "MOM! I'm making a sailboat for my little people and the sail won't stay on!!" (this is my 5 year old kindergartener I'm talking about) so I look over at the table, and she has a book, with a pencil, and a carboard sail that wont stay up, because she's trying to tape it to the middle of the book, and not the edge. I tell her how to do it, and the sail stays up. Picture moment? YES! Then I take the picture, load it onto the computer and realize that the cardboard she used for the sail is my 20% off coupon for Old navy!!! grrr! Daddy will be so happy!

Then while Jordyns waiting for the wind to pick up and her boat to sail on the kitchen table (don't laugh, that's what she said!)
Jadyn takes Jordyn's glasses, and starts jabbering about something that I can't understand...but Jordyn did...so Jadyn says "I'm a wasta!"
and Jordyn says "No, I'M a rockstar!" and Jadyn says "no, i'm a waksta!" back and forth back and forth till finally I gave in and found another pair of sunglasses and took more pictures! Oh the fun we have when the babies are sleeping!

I'm going to try to get some scrapping done this weekend, so you're not just seeing cute pics of my kids! =)

my little girl

My adorable daughter is a hair twirler. Especially when she is TIRED! She must have been "twirling" last night in bed, because when she woke up, her hair looked like the pics below. Now a NORMAL mom would fix her hair immediately...but a SCRAPPER mom would say "don't move! I have to get my camera!"

I LOVE the way Jadyn crinkles her nose when she smiles and her cute chubby cheeks! Maybe I'm partial, but damn, I think she's the cutest little thing!

Yes, there WILL be a scrap page for this one...can you guess the title?? (hint-think Grinch who stole christmas)

Sleep, what's that??

I'm a new mommy all over again, but this time I didnt' have to give birth, and no, I'm not breastfeeding! We bought a puppy the other day, and we soooo love her! She's turning out to be a very good doggie, and is very cuddly and is already a spoiled brat! She sleeps through the night, and goes potty outside already! yay!
Isabella (Bella) Ann Brush is a 10 week old cockapoopoo. yes, you read that right. Her mom is a cockapoo (part cocker spaniel, part poodle) and the dad is a poodle (but not the ugly kind..haha)

Bella has many nicknames...
Bella Ann,
Bella Boo, (i think we use this one the most)
Frizzy izzy,
spoiled brat
those are the most popular, and I'm sure the list will grow grow grow!

Here are some pics of my new baby who LOVES her mommy!

long time no blog!

Wow, I havn't blogged in a week! Sorry! Last Saturday I had a garage sale with my mother and sister in laws, and then on Sunday I went with my mom and sister and the kids, and we went to the San Diego zoo. I'll have to post pics of that trip as well as the kids new haircuts when I get them developed!
for now, 4 new layouts....

This first layout I made for my friends Melissa and Keith Clayton. They work with my husband Jason at the school, and I'm now watching their cute son Cameron! They always have him dressed in the cutest blue and brown outfits, so when I saw this paper in the new spring stack at Joanns by DCWV, I had to make a layout! This layout was so fast and easy, and only took me about 10 min or LESS to make!

This layout was used with the spring glitter stack as well! I used white bazzill as my background paper and took the cute blue paper and cut it out using a sheet of Jenni Bowlin paper as my stencil. I used daisy d's punch outs for my journalling and title.

For this layout I used the same paper stack ( i was on a roll) and used Heidi Swapp photo corners, cloud 9 chipboard stickers, painted American crafts metal letters, and used the BACK of some fancy pants packaging from some 12x12 stamps for the white scalloped edge on the bottom (trash to treasure!!)

For this last layout, I used Daisy D's paper, and Making Memories photo corners. The background paper is of course, Bazzill

stay tuned for more pics!

6 new layouts!

I'm a procrastinator. Especially when it comes to cleaning my house! What do I do when I'm supposed to clean but don't want to? I scrap! I made 6 layouts in 2 hours on Saturday night, and when I REALIZED that I made 6, I was shocked! lol

These layouts I call my "Fast fun and fabulous" layouts, cause I love them all! I wish the pics I took could do them justice, but my photos don't even come close to capturing the COLORS in the paper!
On the "Its all about family" page, I used paper loft paper, and daisy D's rub ons. That's it! woot!

In "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil", I used Bisous paper, CK ok rub ons, Heidi Swapp self adhesive Orange Chipboard and a 7 gypsies sticker. Bazzill (of course) for my matte!

for my "Iron Chef" page, I also used Bisous paper, bazzill matte, American Crafts metal letters, and some clear acrylic letters (michaels??)

For my second Iron CHef page, I used the back side of the other Bisous paper (they are double sided) and used bazzill for my matte, and another american craft letter. That's it! easy peasy!

For my "together" page, I tried 8 1/2 x 11 for the first time. I call this my "inspired by Edie" page, because Edie uses bazzill backgrounds with a little patterned paper (inked) etc! I really like how EASY and fast this page was to make..took me less than 10 minutes, and it came out great! I might frame this one for my family. Bazzill background, Daisy d's paper and rub ons (LOVE EM!)

I'm very disappointed in how this last layout came out on my camera, because it's my favorite one. The pic doesn't show the true pink colors on it..boo hoo!
This is the new Theresa Collins BELLA line, and I LOVE it! Bazzill matte, and MM journalling page...thats it!! =)
